犬と猫
Cats in Japan
I don't know whether taking this word to express the phenomenon is right or not but I will say...Now keeping cats is a record-breaking hit ever in Japan. As you know, cats are living creatures so I don't like to treat them as objects and say "booming".
But the surveys show number of pet cats has been increasing in the past years.
That was not our reason but we owns two cats.
Dogs in Nepal
On the other hand, Nepal is a country of dogs. |

Dogs are everywhere as I mentioned. I also saw stray dogs sleeping or walking on the streets even in Thailand but the number of Nepali stray dogs on the streets are much more than there.
As long as they are in a good mood, they are not harmless. They are just wandering around and sleeping around.
BTW....I am wondering about cats in Nepal because I have never seen cats in Nepal during my staying there.
But I found this article about cat business in Nepal. Hmmm right, I remember Nepal has high-quality felt. They would work for pet accessories.
日本の猫
この現象をこの言葉で説明するのが正しいかわかりませんが、言います・・今、日本では猫を買うのが空前の大ブーム。ご存知のように、猫は生き物なので、モノのように扱って、「ブーム」と言いたくないですが、、
とはいえ、調査によれば飼い猫の数は、何年も増えてるそうです。
それでじゃないですけど、ウチでは２匹猫を飼ってます。
ネパールの犬
いっぽう、ネパールは犬の国です。犬は機嫌がいい限りは、無害です。ただ道をウロウロしたり、寝たりしてます。
そういえば、、猫はどうなっちゃってるんだろうネパール、というのは、猫をネパールで見たことがないからです。
でも、ネパールのこんな猫ビジネスの記事を見つけました。ふーむ確かに。ネパールには上質のクオリティのフェルトがあるんだった。ペットアクセサリーにいいかも！
